Blue Reef Aquarium will be hosting renowned local photographer Matt Montano over the May Bank Holiday Weekend (May 1st – 4th) as part of Newquay’s Art8 festival.
A selection of his stunning photography will be on display as part of an exhibition in the aquarium’s Ocean View Café, overlooking Towan Beach. It will be free to view and Matt’s images will be available to buy.
Over the weekend Matt will also be providing interactive workshops for visitors packed with great tips for successful marine and coastal photography.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to try out their newly-mastered skills by entering the Blue Reef Get Snappy ‘No Flash-Photography’ competition.
Every day throughout the event one photo, taken at the aquarium, with the hashtag #BRphotocomp on social media will be chosen by the professional photographer.
Winners will receive free tickets to the aquarium and get the chance to have their photo made into a canvas.
