Seahorse Ranch

Seahorses have both amazed and enchanted humans since Classical times.

This spectacular new column-shaped display is home to dozens of seahorses offering visitors the chance to observe these magical fish and the fascinating way they interact both with each other and their marine environment.

Our aquarists are proud of their success in breeding endangered seahorse species - you can meet third, fourth and even fifth generation babies in the Blue Reef Nursery!

Alongside the seahorses is a new display of garden eels, the first time these bizarre, snake-like fish have been seen at Blue Reef.
